MUNICIPAL GALLERY OF TRIPOLI
“F. TSICHRITZIS”

Artistic creation is hosted and showcased within the gallery’s spaces. On the ground floor of the building, there is an exhibition hall for temporary exhibitions as well as the reception and multimedia area, where digital applications present the collection of artworks of the Municipality of Tripolis and the local artistic production. On the upper floor, the works of the permanent exhibition are displayed, which are organized into five thematic sections. The artworks (paintings, prints, studies and sculpture) belong to the Municipality’s collection, which is continuously enriched with new acquisitions. Of particular interest are the ceiling paintings which were recently restored and stand out for their neoclassical style, while one of them features characteristics of Art Nouveau.
